Mariah Carey is still one of the potential season 10 judges for American Idol, which will air this fall. The “We Belong Together” singer has reportedly been talking to the show’s producers and may sit alongside Randy Jackson and the newest member of the judge panel, Steven Tyler, E! Online reports.

“She wants it,” a source told E! “She’s seen what America’s Got Talent has done for [husband Nick Cannon] and thinks it will be a good career move.”

When asked about the songstress’ involvement in the show, her rep said that there is “nothing to report.”

Other stars that have been rumored to take over the role as a judge on the hit talent show include Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake and Elton John, though there have been no official negotiations with any of these celebs yet.
