You Should Check Out The New ‘Rosie Show’ on OWN!

It took awhile but my kids and I are FINALLY getting into a good evening routine at my house:  Homework, dinner and… THE ROSIE SHOW!

Rosie O’Donnell is back with a new talk show 5 nights a week on OWN- The Oprah Winfrey Network.  Night 2 on Tuesday proved to be another VERY funny show!  I love how she starts the show with stand-up and questions from the audience.  She even read some of her reviews from her debut show- the good and the not so good- so funny!  Wanda Sykes and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Gloria Estefan[/lastfm] were her guests.  They’re two very talented, strong and fun women who were great to listen to.  They also both joined Rosie at the end of the show to play “Build That Tune”.  You’d think that Gloria would have cleaned up on that contest but Wanda won!

Last night Rosie was live again!  I LOVE live TV and Rosie O’Donnell live definitely kept me glued to the show!  One of the highlights last night was a song Rosie did about her show reviews.  The whole Rosie Show staff even came out and sang to the Time Magazine writer who’d given them a good write up- hysterical!  Rosie’s guest last night was Roseanne Barr.  Rosie and Roseanne LIVE= Good stuff!  They talked about kids and grandkids, menopause, their love lives… NOTHING was held back!

The Rosie Show is so entertaining.  It’s not just talk- it’s also music, games, reality, comedy and just plain fun!  My 11 year old daughter, Sarah, and I have decided to make Rosie a regular part of our week nights and you should check it out too! Tonight’s guest is the fabulous Lisa Kudrow so we’ll definitely be watching!

The Rosie Show is on Monday-Friday nights at 7pm (6pm Central) on OWN- The Oprah Winfrey Network.
