A song Paris Hilton recorded for Manufactured Superstars leaked yesterday. The spoken word track, “Drunk Text” details a night of dancing, drunk texting, and Tweeting photos.
Hilton’s popular single, “Stars Are Blind” off her debut album, Paris, introduced the socialite into the music world in 2006.
Hilton’s sophomore follow up is scheduled for later this year. She is collaborating with Flo Rida and LMFAO on her upcoming release.
A spokesperson for Paris Hilton confirmed that the song is not part of Hilton’s new album.
“This video was recorded over a year ago. The first single will be out in a few months, we will let everyone know when it’s due for release,” the spokesperson said.
As far as house music production team Manufactured Superstars, the duo said she did the video as a favor to them.
“This is an unfinished rough-cut, which was not ready for release. We’re looking into what happened and removing the illegal copies from the web,” the duo said. “We’ve heard some songs from her new record which are incredible and are really going to surprise people.”
