Platinum selling artist David Cook has a special bond with the DC community because on his way here for a performance just a few short years ago, Cook got the unsettling phone call informing him that his brother had lost his fight with brain cancer. David Cook fought on despite the terrible loss and shared his story with his DC audience, since then David has been a part of helping raise funds for The Children’s National Medical Center’s-Heroes For Hope. Night of Hope serves as the kick off for the two day event and since it’s inception Heroes For Hope has raised over 15  million dollars. Watch as Darik hosts the festivities at the State Theater!
