Ali Wong—comedian-slash-actress-slash-Vietnamese Chinese American—is a star on the rise, and she just paid a visit to the one and only Washington DC at the Riot Act Comedy Theater.

Basically, if you like comedy that is a mix between Chelsea Handler, Dane Cooke, Ellen DeGeneres, and a “naughty Oprah” then Wong is the comedian you need to see.

She was an actress on the NBC sitcom, “Are you there Chelsea?” playing the character Olivia, an old childhood friend of Chelsea, who shares the same love of partying and dirty humor.

However, Wong is making a name for herself not only in sitcoms, but also on the “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” the Fox Series “Breaking In,” “E’s 50 Super Epic TV Moments,” and Oliver Stone’s “Savages.”
