Sometimes all it takes is a tweet.

From Justin Bieber, that is. The man behind the global success of Carly Rae Jepsen just might be adding another singer to his roster: Madison Beer.

Bieber took to Twitter earlier this week to rave about the 13-year-old singer, which makes us wonder:

He later reached out to Carly after finding a video of Madison singing a mash-up of “Call Me Maybe” and “Boyfriend.” In the clip, Madison is singing in the bathroom while brushing her hair. Unbeknownst to her, she’s being filmed.

After just three tweets Madison Beer found herself trending on Twitter and now has over 30,000 followers on the site, with everyone from Selena Gomez to Bieber’s fans reaching out with words of praise. Whether or not she follows in Carly’s footsteps remains to be seen, but this is a promising first step.
