Ever since celebrities started using Twitter we’ve seen the rise of famous Twitter beefs, the sharing of very private pictures, and all the ways a star can shove their foot in their mouth in 140 characters. While some scream “hackers,” others back peddle or delete posts or accounts. But not Pink. She’s decided to embrace the controversy when it comes her way.
“Look, as far as I’m concerned if you say something really, really crazy. You just repeat it,” Pink told Alice@97.3/San Francisco in a recent interview. “Just say it a second time and it is fine. Don’t take it back or apologize.”
To illustrate the fact Pink brought up her controversial Tweet about Chris Brown lip-syncing at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.
“Nope I’ll say it again, ‘One day if I lip-sync I hope to do it as well as him.’”
The “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” singer and new mom did admit that after her daughter is in bed and she’s had a glass of wine she might not be the most responsible tweeter.
“I think phones should have a breathalyzer in them,” she joked. “I think the fun of Twitter is being able to in 140 characters or less see how many people you can upset.”
Pink’s new album The Truth About Love is set to hit stores on September 18th.
