Last year 94.7 Fresh FM set out to make a difference for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a unique and positive way. We brought together our foodie friends from DC, Maryland and Virginia’s best eateries, a fabulous downtown destination and Fresh artist Rachel Platten to perform. 94.7 Fresh FM’s Breast Cancer Bites is back and bigger than before.

Join the whole Fresh Family Sunday, September 30 2012 at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel from noon until 3 for an afternoon of tastes and sips all for a great cause. Breast Cancer Bites will once again benefit the George Washington University Mobile Mammography Unit that goes into the most underserved communities in the DC area to provide screenings and prevention for women who would otherwise not receive mammograms. 1 in 8 U.S. women (just under 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime – Breast Cancer affects everyone.
Join Executive Chef Scott Drewno of Wolfgang Puck’s The Source and the most acclaimed culinary masters in the area for Breast Cancer Bites. Taste the best from The Source by Wolfgang Puck, Bar Pilar, Bibiana, Birch & Barley, BLT Steak, Carmine’s, CityZen, Cork, Equinox, Estadio, Graffiato, Peacock Cafe, Rogue 24, Taco Bamba, Georgetown Cupcake, Makin Whoopie, PAUL Bakery, Pinkberry, Ripple, Eddy Bar, Quench in Rockville, Slate Wine Bar and many more! This year Fresh artist and Montgomery County native Eric Hutchinson will play acoustic and hang with you during the party.
Tickets go on sale on September 4 at 10AM and are $30 in advance, $40 day of the event. 100% of your ticket price will go to the George Washington University Mobile Mammovan. Breast Cancer survivors and children under 10 are invited free of charge.
