One Republic Uses Real Heartbeats in Latest Song

A father himself, Ryan Tedder of One Republic, discussed how their new song “Feel Again” is actually inspired by real heartbeats of children in the jungles of Guatemala and villages in Malawi.

The song is featured in the latest “Save The Children” campaign.

What’s also super cool is the band used an iPhone app to record the heartbeats! Proceeds from the sale of the song on iTunes or at EveryBeatMatters.com will go to help save lives.
