Did you go to bed disappointed on Wednesday night because you didn’t have the winning Powerball ticket?

By Thursday morning, most knew the two winning tickets were sold in Missouri and Arizona.  But could it be that a Maryland man bought that winning Arizona Powerball ticket?

A man walked into an Exxon in Upper Marlboro Thursday and checked his tickets with employees.  They say it definitely had all the winning numbers and it was a ticket from Arizona.

However, they were unable to officially confirm if it was real because their lottery machines only accept Maryland tickets.

The biggest local winner is Almerta Williams of Baltimore.  She came forward to claim her $2 million winnings.  She said she chose one of her numbers incorrectly because she has poor eyesight. She says she wants to buy a new house, an 80-inch TV … but says she’ll continue to work at her current job as a custodian.

Just wait until her boss gives her a hard time.  I bet she’ll be outta there!
