Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw are friends, tour mates, and now the two are taking their talents to Hollywood. The pair wrote and recorded “We Both Know” for the upcoming Nicholas Sparks romance Safe Haven, starring Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough coming out on Valentine’s Day 2013.

The story is about a young woman with a mysterious past lands in a small town in Southport, North Carolina where her bond with a widower forces her to confront the dark secret that haunts her. Love surely follows…

The Tommy Show recently talked to both musicians while in DC last week about their new love song. Colbie performed at the National Christmas Tree Lighting and Gavin joined the Fresh FM crew at Acoustic Christmas on December 9.
