First ladies were “staid and conservative and older” says Jenna Elfman….but Michelle Obama has changed all that. Elfman talked with the Tommy Show this morning about how her new role in the NBC sitcom 1600 Penn was inspired by the current first lady.
Jenna Elfman prepared for her role by researching first lady history, and channeling her inner Michelle Obama as the “only bright and vibrant, youthful, healthy, fashionable and fun First Lady in history.”
Here is part of interview. The rest of the interview will air Friday on the Tommy Show at 7:10.
