Before naming their new bundle of Joy, parents in New Zeeland have to get the all clear from the government. Not surprisingly some names have not made the cut. New moms and dads have tired, unsuccessfully to legally name their child “Lucifer“ during the past 12 years. Royal, Messiah and President also got the “No Go.” They don’t permit names resembling an official title or rank, which makes “Justice“ and “King“ the most popular banned names, having been rejected 62 times and 31 times since 2001.
