‘Twin Peaks’ is Returning to Television

If you watched TV in the early 1990s, chances are you’ve heard of one of the most popular cult series, “Twin Peaks.” After only two seasons on ABC, the series was canceled leaving fans with a ton of unanswered questions.

I was excited to learn “Twin Peaks” is returning to the small screen in 2016 for a 25th anniversary revamp on Showtime

For those who have no idea of what I am talking about, you can stream both seasons on Netflix.

The show centers around a small town called Twin Peaks and the murder investigation of the town’s Prom Queen, Laura Palmer. Strange things being to happen surrounding her death, like creepy giants, dancing little people and a woman that speaks backwards.

Eerily, the show’s final quote was Laura Palmer’s voice saying she would return in 25 years. The show’s creators, David Lynch and Mark Frost, will again be writing the series and the cast has yet to be revealed.
