I am getting married… at some point in the next year or so. We haven’t set a date yet, we’re slackers.
Anyway, my plan is to keep it simple for my bridesmaids and anyone else who takes part in our wedding…
As someone who dealt with a Bridezilla and dropped out of her wedding because it was just so ridiculous, I can’t imagine how or why anyone would cave to these demands.
The Daily Mail asked bridesmaids to submit the craziest things they were asked to do… Here are some of the responses.
“I was the maid of honor. She insisted I wear a very tight, short dress and walk down the aisle with her brother who was also my stalker.”
“Day of the wedding she asked me to be a bridesmaid. And gave me her ex-bridesmaid’s dress which was a size 16. I was a size 2. She begged me to just ‘safety pin it.'”
“Bride put her dress on and then started freaking out about sweating. We had to get under her dress and rub baby powder between and down her legs.”
“She made me get my toes done with her initials on one big toe and his initials on the other. The shows I had to wore didn’t even show my toes at all.”
“I was told to cover my tattoos. Spent $200 on makeup and I was in 4 photos in which my tattoos wouldn’t have been seen anyway.”
“I was told to get a breast reduction so my chest would fit in the same dress as the other bridesmaids.”
“She wanted me to dye my hair blonde so she would be the only brunette at the wedding.”
“She has a Beauty & The Beast themed wedding and wanted me to dress up as Lumiere and sing ‘Be Our Guest’.”
“She gave us lubricating eye drops and asked us to simulate crying after the vows.”
“She asked me to flirt with the groom because if he got cheating the prenup would be null & void.”
